General Guidelines
for Performances

How much time is needed?

  • Approximately an hour to an hour and 1/2 to set up in the space
  • Each show runs between 30 minute to 60 minute presentations.
  • Approximately an hour to clear out of the space
  • Plan for approximately 3 hours to 3 1/2 hours in the space

What kind of space do we need?

  • An indoor space, preferably at ground level or  served by a freight elevator
  • 30 x 30 performance space (this does not include the audience) on the floor or on a stage  accessible without using stairs. (gyms and multi- purpose rooms work great)
  • Space should have two working 110-volt outlets near the performance area

Where should the audience sit?

  • Students sit cross-legged on the floor, on mats or in chairs

What else do we need?

  • Nothing. You bring the audience and we will bring the rest. We provide our own sound system and lights if needed. Before we perform in a new space we do a site check to make sure everything will work out well.
